Step 1: Medical Enquiry

A representative will contact the patient to clarify further aspects of and requirements and to outline solutions to the patients individual concerns. A cost estimate is provided if required.

Step 2: Medical Information

We request the patient or the patient’s doctor to forward more detailed medical information to us-a summary of the patients current condition, complete medical reports and background medical history and all relevant imaging (eg. XRays, CT scans, Ultrasound,MRI etc.) At this stage we will contact the patient and go through a Patient Requirement Checklist to outline non–medical requirements (eg.airfares, accommodation, interpreter service). In places where we have a liaison office the patient can always go and have a personal meeting. Where available we will also try and arrange a tele-consult/video conference to better understand the medical case.

Step 3: Formal Quote

Following review of the medical information by medical consultants, a formal quote will be provided to the patient covering both medical and non-medical components. A choice of the medical providers will be given to the patient in order to provide a choice of treatment.

Step 4: Acceptance of Quote and Conformation of Booking

Once the patient has agreed to the formal quote and medical recommendation, they will be asked to nominate which provider they would like to be treated by. They will send our client services agreement to sign and asked to transfer costs to nominated bank account. This is just to make sure the financial aspects of the treatment are covered. Where applicable we can also help in financing the treatment. We will then commence on booking for all medical and non-medical arrangements.

Step 5: Travel & Visa arrangements

If requested we will assist the patient to obtain appropriate “Medical Visas” to allow treatment in different parts of the world based on preference and medical expertise. We can coordinate travel planes & submission to relevant embassies and consulates.

Step 6: Medical Treatment

Health professionals will be present to escort the patient and the traveling companions from the airport to your accommodation and will assist with all transfers, appointments with specialists and admissions into hospitals etc. At any time during their stay, health professionals will be on call to assist the patient.

Step 7: Return Home

When cleared to travel by the medical specialist, we will arrange return transportation to the airport and supply a reconciliation of costs. Depending upon the case follow up visits and treatment can be arranged.
